After a lot of searching, we found our perfect place. Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is everything we dreamed of, and the Sky Venue is going to be the most stunning backdrop for our ceremony. Now, we just need you there with us.

How It All Began

Our Story

It all started at a mutual friend's Super Bowl party in 2021, the game between Tampa Bay and Kansas City. Dan spotted Mary from across the room and spent most of the party working up the courage to introduce himself. As fate would have it, the introduction happened a little differently than planned.

While navigating the snack table, Dan "accidentally" stepped on the back of Mary's shoe. With an awkward apology and no easy escape, he was finally forced to start a conversation. They hit it off, but surprisingly, the night ended without exchanging phone numbers.

A few days later, one of Mary's friends asked about "that guy" she had been talking to at the party. Mary couldn't remember his name, but she definitely remembered him as the guy who brought the delicious deer sausage snack. She asked her friend if she could track him down so they could exchange numbers. It didn't take long. That very night, Mary received a text from Dan asking if she'd like to grab dinner and drinks.

Three weeks later, they finally had their first date at Steakhouse 9 in Lynden.

Fast forward five years, and they're still together and happily in love. In a full-circle moment, Dan proposed in the parking lot of the very same restaurant where they had their first date. With shaking hands, and after accidentally knocking their leftovers off the truck's tailgate, Dan asked Mary to marry him.

According to Mary, it was the easiest "yes" she's ever said. ❤️

The resort offers both family-friendly (all-ages) and adults-only accommodations. If you're looking to stay in the adults-only section, those rooms are listed below under the "Elegance Club" room categories.

Our wedding room block includes a variety of options in both the all-ages and adults-only sections, so you can choose whichever option works best for you!

A few suites are set over two levels, with a private rooftop terrace reached by an interior staircase: the Sky View Suite, the Elegance Club Plunge Pool Suite, and the Elegance Club Plunge Pool Suite, Oceanfront. If anyone in your party would prefer step-free, single-level access, let Stephanie know before booking and she will match you to a suitable room.

Dress Code: Tropical Vibrant

Mary and Dan are dreaming of a celebration that looks and feels like a beachside paradise. Think warm, vibrant, and joyful. The palette below captures exactly the vibe they're going for.

Flowing sundresses, button-up shirts, subtle tropical prints, and anything in the colors below are perfect. Semi-formal is welcome and beachy semi-floral is encouraged. The more color the better.

Please do not wear white. That color belongs to Mary on the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before You Book

A valid US passport is required for travel to Mexico. It must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your last travel date. Standard processing takes 6 to 8 weeks and expedited takes 2 to 3 weeks. Apply as soon as you decide to come.
The room block closes January 13, 2027. Any unsold rooms are released back to the resort after that date. Because March is spring break season, pricing and availability after the deadline can be significantly higher. Your final payment is due January 4, 2027, so plan ahead. Book early.
Travel insurance is optional but strongly recommended. It can cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel delays. Mary and Dan have their own policy, and Stephanie can provide a personalized quote when you book.
All payments are non-refundable. Travel insurance may allow you to recover costs depending on your policy. Contact Stephanie for the full cancellation terms before you book.

Yes. Each person sharing a room will receive their own invoice and must pay their own deposit. Contact Stephanie before booking so she can link the reservations and make sure the group rate is applied correctly.

Travel and At the Resort

Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). It is approximately 30 minutes from the resort. Shared roundtrip transfers are included in your package. Submit your flight itinerary to Stephanie once booked so transfers can be coordinated.
Book as early as possible. March is peak spring break season in Cancún and airfare prices increase quickly, especially from the West Coast. Aim to arrive March 20 or 21 to enjoy the resort before the wedding. Departing March 27 or later gives you a relaxed end to the trip.
Yes, and this is important. Flight collection reminders go out starting 90 days before departure. Your full flight itinerary and confirmation number must be submitted no later than 45 days before your arrival date. This applies whether you booked through Travel With Class or on your own. If your details are not received by that deadline, you forfeit your included airport transfer. Stephanie will send a link to make submission easy. Watch for it and respond promptly.
You may be able to arrive before or depart after the group block dates at the group rate, subject to availability. Contact Stephanie before booking your flights so she can confirm your preferred dates.
The wedding contract requires at least 90% of guests to stay at the resort. If you book outside the group block, you may need to purchase a Day Pass ($180 per person per day) to attend the ceremony and reception. You also lose the secured group rate and Stephanie's dedicated in-travel support. Booking through the group block is the simplest and most cost-effective way to attend.
